I am born and raised in Westminster. I went to Delone Catholic High in Hanover PA and attended Stevenson University. I have a degree in Business with a minor in History. I also speak German, although I have let it slip lately, Übung macht den Meister.
I own Westminster Security Company and Medical Systems of Maryland with my sister, she is the President and I am Vice President. Our parents started the business in 1974 and we took over in 2016.
I’ve played the drums since 1984, and have played with Van Halen, Journey, Foo Fighters and many more – well in my headphones anyway. I was with them in spirit!
I am also VP of the Board for RCIS, Rape Crisis Intervention Service – those people do amazing things.
Travelling is marvellously amazing, double positives I know. I have been to every state except Alaska. I have been to a good bit of Europe and Central America and to our neighbours up north in Canada. It is superb meeting different people, learning about their culture, and sampling their cuisine.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family. Include your pets too!
My wife is Vickie and we have an 8 yr old named Bond, who is sports obsessed. We have two rescue dogs. A lab/great dane mix named Kenji and a whippet mix named Pongo.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Besides loading hay, I have only been involved with the family business, Westminster Security Company. I love my coworkers and helping people feel a bit more secure.
Q: What is one of your favorite quotes or lines in a song and why does it resonate with you?
“Right Here, Right Now”- Van Halen. We can’t do anything about yesterday and tomorrow is not guaranteed.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Be yourself, unless you are a jerk, then be someone else who is nice.

Papa, Joes, Mediterrano, Paradiso. Pub Dog.
Q: What advice would you give to people living in Westminster or looking to move to Westminster?
It is a fantastic place to raise children. Lots of activities and the CCPS school system is superb.
Q: What 3 words come to mind when you think of Westminster?
Family Life, Well Run and Maintained, Restaurants.
Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies or pastimes?
Weight lifting, Kick Boxing, Music and Beer tasting.
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Germany.
Q: What is one of your proudest accomplishments?
Our son Bond. I will never do anything else as successful.
Q: What is one thing on your bucket list?
To live in Germany.
Q: What would you buy/do if you won the lottery?
Pay off debt. Invest. Buy a house in the German Alps.
Q: What is something even your family and friends may not know about you?
Nothing. I am rather transparent.
Q: What has been a challenge you have had to overcome? (life, school, work, family, health, etc)
Lately health. I found out I am pre-diabetic. I do not want diabetes so I have been forced to eat differently and it has turned out to be one of the best things to happen to me.
Q: Who has been a hero in your life?
My parents and family. Also, Sammy Hagar. I love his outlook on life.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where in Westminster would you meet for this lunch?
Eddie Van Halen. He is a musical genius. My house. I have drums in my basement and he would have his guitar. It would be great.
