My name is Amber Brewer and I am 28 years old. In my free time I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons, getting tattoo’s and traveling to different places to try the food. I love skulls, elephants and my favorite color is Teal. My job is very important to me. I am a Employment Specialist at Bello Machre. I help adults with disabilities find employment. My favorite part of my job is watching all of the individuals I work with become their own advocates and learn how to be themselves. I grew up in Manchester, MD and was part of the first class at Manchester Valley High School, Class of 2013. After high school I got my CNA and did home health care and then hospice care. After taking a break from health care for a little while a friend of mine messaged me and told me he found the perfect job for me. I have been with Bello Machre ever since. I am also a 988 Ambassador for Carroll County. I started doing this program this year because I believe it is a subject that should be talked about more. When I’m not at work I love to spend time with my boyfriend, my friends, family and of course my dog Jager. It truly is an honor to be apart of this project and I look forward to meeting more Faces of Westminster.
