Hello!
My name is Ashlie Pack and I am 27 years old and I have lived in Westminster my entire life. My favorite color is purple and I love to collect pokemon cards.

 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family. Include your pets too!
I have a wonderful husband, 2 great kids, 2 cats, and 2 dogs.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have been working in the field for 8 years. Currently I work for Bello Machre as an employment specialist. I support adult with disabilities in finding jobs and meaningful experiences in their community. I love the friendship I have made over the years and watching the people I support accomplish their goals.

Q: What is one of your favorite quotes or lines in a song and why does it resonate with you?

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Even if it take longer than other still take you time. Life is not a race.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite places or events in our community?
Wakefield Valley Park, Fall Fest, and Serigos LLC.

Q: What advice would you give to people living in Westminster or looking to move to Westminster?
It more rural then the city so it something to get use to and everyone knows everyone.

Q: What 3 words come to mind when you think of Westminster?
Rural, small town, and friendly

Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies or pastimes?
Playing Pokemon, going for walks with my family, and spending time at the carnivals.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Llamas!

Q: What is one of your proudest accomplishments?
Progressing in my job and making the lives of the people I support more meaningful. Also buying our first home!

Q: What is one thing on your bucket list?
Going to New Zealand or Japan

Q: What would you buy/do if you won the lottery?
A bigger house, pay off my debit, and make sure my family is taken care of.

Q: What is something even your family and friends may not know about you?
Honestly nothing, I am a very open person.

Q: What has been a challenge you have had to overcome? (life, school, work, family, health, etc)
My 2 year old son has down syndrome and we have worked though a lot of challenges of navigating a child with specials needs. We have learned that we have to take things one step at a time and with the support of our family he is hitting milestones.

Q: Who has been a hero in your life?
My mother, she has supported me and helped me navigate that world all of my life while also raising a daughter with down syndrome as well.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where in Westminster would you meet for this lunch?
The voice actor for Ash from Pokemon! Its one of my favorite things and would love to learn what it is like to be a voice actor. I would go with Sergios, since it is my favorite restaurant.
