Hi! My name is Kaitey Jones (maiden name Sweep). I am the owner of Kait Jones Bridal Hair. I am a 2008 graduate of Westminster Senior High School. When I am not running my business, you can find me on the softball field or playing my acoustic guitar or my bass guitar. My husband and I attend Freedom Church where we serve as youth leaders and Deacon/Deaconess.
I have traveled all over the world but honestly love Carroll County and love being near my family. Through Kait Jones Bridal hair, I have been able to work with some of the most beautiful and sweetest brides – I can truly say that I am doing my dream job .
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have been Married to my husband for 11 years and we have 2 children . Our son Jackie who is 6 and our Daughter Dorothy who is 4.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
As a bridal hair specialist, I go onsite to the venue where the bride and bridesmaids are getting ready and I do all of their hair before the wedding. I love being apart of a brides big day! I get to make brides feel like a princess on one of their biggest days of their life.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite places or events in our community?
I love fall fest! I love listening to the live bands and waling around enjoying the atmosphere. I also love the many pizza places we have.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
You don’t know until you try.
Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Oh thats a tough one. I don’t think I could actually answer that one. I would have to just hit shuffle because I love everything from country to 80’s rock to scream and worship music.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
My Favorite thing would have to be all the live music we have at all the different restaurants.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
If I could live in water I would, but fish and things that live in water completely freak me out. I would never touch an octopus if given the opportunity and for some reason my son seems to love them while I am terrified of them.
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A day out on a boat or by the water with friends.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My kids and knowing there is a whole younger generation out there looking for elders to look up to. The kids that are part of my youth group really inspire me.
