I didn’t discover my true self until I was 30 years old, but even as a teen I knew that being a free spirit was a big part of who I am. I am an only child and a born leader. I retired from FedEx after 23 years as a customer service manager. I love animals and I am a proud business owner of “Heavens to Betsey”. We are an animal support organization.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have one amazing son and two outstanding grown grandchildren.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?My business “Heavens to Betsey” is very rewarding. We are making a difference in our community to reduce the homeless pet population. We have a fundraiser every year to raise money to support a local animal organization.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite places or events in our community?
I enjoy the events at the AG Center and the Farm Museum.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
One of my favorite TV Shows is “Dancing with the Stars” and a favorite movie is “Top Gun”.

The Beatles
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Paul McCartney as he is one of my life long loves and we could meet anywhere – I think he would be very interesting to talk to as he is quite charming
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I really like the friendly atmosphere here in Carroll County.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I would like to be remembered as a woman that is sincere and stands up for causes that I believe in – I have talent and vision, cares for others and love my family and friends.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
I am blessed to still have my 91 year mother and she has always inspired me to be the best that I can be in everything I do.

Safe – comfortable – stress free
